South Korea-based Yanolja
Cloud, part of Yanolja, has acquired Oregon-based Innsoft, a hospitality solutions company, to actively
target the North American market. The purchase amount was not disclosed.
“With local-specific solutions, we will continue to grow
rapidly in North America as well as in emerging markets such as Asia and Africa,”
said Yanolja and Yanolja Cloud CEO Jong Yoon Kim. “We will lead the digital
transformation of the industry.”
Yanolja Cloud is an artificial intelligence-based software-as-a-service
(SaaS) company. Founded in 1991, Innsoft provides the hospitality industry
with property management software.

Yanolja Cloud said it is introducing its lineup of
optimization solutions to Innsoft’s North American customers while incorporating
Innsoft’s network, infrastructure and operational know-how.
North America’s transition to a digital-based operating
environment has been slow, Yanolja Cloud said, and it aims to expand the adoption rate
of SaaS-based hospitality solutions.
The company also plans to introduce a new self check-in
kiosk at hotels near highways, which will “greatly improve the hospitality
business environment by helping customers check in and out smoothly 24 hours a
day,” Yanolja Cloud said. The self check-in will improve the operational
efficiency of front desk personnel, according to the company.
Yanolja last year invested an undisclosed
amount in HotelOnline, which helps properties across Africa and the Middle
East to transact online.
