Spot2Nite RV platform lands $3M to fuel expansion

[ad_1]

Spot2Nite, an online travel agency (OTA) for the campground industry, announced that it has closed a $3 million Series A funding round led by a private family office wealth management firm based in Chicago, in addition to several venture firms.

Spot2Nite said it plans to use the funding to expand its core team, along with additional resources to support existing and upcoming property management system integrations.

The Louisiana-based company was founded in 2019 by a family of avid RVers to “end the time-consuming … single-source booking routine prevalent throughout the campground community.” Spot2Nite’s marketplace filters for rig requirements and preference selections.

“Outpacing growth milestones has allowed Spot2Nite to earn this investment with goals to not only expand our RV spot inventory, but also develop the appropriate processes to aggregate availability and pricing of more robust campground lodging verticals like cabins, glamping wagons and yurts,” said Sam Bruner, co-founder and COO of Spot2Nite.

The funding opens a new chapter of growth for the company, Bruner said.

Spot2Nite’s website and mobile platforms boost reservations for campground operators by directing campers to their campgrounds and provides a convenient booking experience for travelers, according to the company.
